Dr Chris Callewaert

Dr. Chris Callewaert received his PhD from Ghent University in Belgium. Now he is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Microbial Ecology and Technology (CMET) in Ghent University and at the Knight lab at University of California, San Diego. He investigates the skin microbiome and metabolome in health and disease. He is the first one to do bacterial transplants to solve underarm body odour. His research led to multiple peer-reviewed publications and was presented at numerous conferences. He presented a TED talk and results of his research can be found on www.DrArmpit.com.
